Pssst. Star Wars is coming out this December. December 18, to be exact. Not that we're counting down the days or anything like that.
Okay, that's not true. We are absolutely counting down the days. That, and we're analyzing every single milisecond of every trailer released by producer JJ Abrams, and we are at least considering purchasing every toy on the market. Because why not? We're Star Wars geeks.
And as Star Wars geeks, we sure wish we could afford this new Star Wars watched from Devon. It's $28,500. That's too expensive for a watch. But this is one incredible, gorgeous piece of machinery.
It's inspired by Darth Vader, and looks like it came out of the same design studio as the (fictional) people who created the Tie Fighters. It has 350 individual parts and 313 electrical contacts paired with four glass-reinforced time belts and four motors. The watch also features a special strap that is ribbed just like Vader's gloves and has metal lugs that match those on his helmet.
Simply put, if you're a fan of Star Wars—a rich fan, of course—then this watch is for you. They're only making 500 of them, however, so you'll need to pre-order if you want to get your hands on one.
